Supporting Documentation Required for an IMAF Application

Supporting documentation is a key part of the application. This typically includes a fire risk assessment or a Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls, which identifies the need for an interim fire alarm system. These documents provide the basis for determining whether the building qualifies for funding.

Key Information Needed for IMAF Approval

A compliant quotation from an approved contractor is also required. This quotation must outline the proposed system, confirm that it meets the relevant standards, and demonstrate that costs are reasonable. The level of detail provided in this quotation is important, as it forms part of the assessment process. Applicants may also need to provide evidence of their role as Responsible Person or authorised representative, along with any additional information required to confirm eligibility.

The application process is designed to ensure that funding is allocated to projects that are both necessary and appropriately planned. Providing clear and accurate information at this stage helps avoid delays and supports a smoother approval process.
