NPG Fire Safety Launch Fire Warden Training Days

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Fire Warden Training Days at our office in Burton-in-Kendal! Designed to ensure that local businesses have fully trained and prepared fire wardens at a fraction of the cost for a full course. These hands-on training sessions offer a practical, engaging way for participants to gain the skills needed to handle fire emergencies confidently. The courses include a fully insured live fire demonstration where attendees are practically trained in the use of fire extinguishers.

Relocating to our new base has been a significant milestone for NPG Fire Safety, and hosting these training days has always been part of our vision to provide additional value to smaller businesses where it is not practical to hold a full course for a low number of staff. We are excited to open our doors to local businesses, providing essential, interactive fire safety training to help keep their staff and premises safe.

Under Article 21 of the Fire Safety Order, employers must provide all staff with adequate fire safety training, and many businesses need appointed fire wardens responsible for fire safety measures and evacuation procedures. While online modules and written materials lay the groundwork, there’s no substitute for the real-world experience of face-to-face training. That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive Fire Warden Training course that includes practical fire extinguisher training as a standard feature.

Hands-on training allows participants to feel the heat of a fire, smell the smoke, and hear the sound of extinguishers — all while learning how to extinguish a fire effectively in a safe environment. It’s an immersive experience that prepares your team for real-life fire scenarios far beyond the theoretical knowledge of a multiple-choice questionnaire.

From November, we’re pleased to offer these training sessions every month at our office in Clawthorpe Hall Business Centre, Burton-in-Kendal. The cost is £75 + VAT per delegate.
